Nikki’s Story Can Inspire Others
Nikki and her family had always been extremely private about her illness, but no more! They know that Nikki’s story – and her spirit of giving back through it all – can inspire others. Nikki began telling her story of battling Crohn’s disease to the PK Walsh community. Nikki has come to appreciate that people do business with people, and that it’s good marketing to be as transparent as possible. Response to her story was overwhelming. The salon and its clients helped to raise more than $25,000 for Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America.
Negotiating Better Pricing and Products
Nikki has traveled the country to visit her top product suppliers, who offer the finest hair, the latest technology and display exceptional business ethics. She was able to negotiate better pricing and even better products from every supplier, and she passed the savings and benefits directly to her clients. Nikki credits this for bringing enough old clients back to carry PK Walsh through the three months she was recuperating. Some clients she had not seen for 10 years.
Certified Trichology Practitioner
Most recently, Nikki became a Certified Trichology Practitioner so she could further help her clients. Nikki has specialized training in the functions of the hair and scalp and can make recommendations and suggestions for treating these conditions based on this expertise.
