Treatment Center – Certified Trichology Practitioner
A Trichology Practitioner can recommend the best treatment for your hair loss.
Nikki Walsh, President of PK Walsh is also a certified Trichology Practitioner who can help you if you are experiencing hair and scalp issues. As a Trichology Practitioner, Nikki has specialized training in the functions of the hair and scalp and can make recommendations and suggestions for treating hair and scalp conditions based on her expertise.
The initial consultation and examination of your hair and scalp include a microscopic scalp analysis using three varied scopes, each showing different views of the scalp, and a test of your blood vessels to make sure they are functioning. We then assess and identify your particular hair or scalp concerns, outline the different causes of hair loss and recommend a plan of action.
We will work with your General Practitioner and/or dermatologist and/or nutritionist and/or endocrinologist or your holistic healer to make sure your hair loss is not an overall health issue. As a Practitioner, we work with these professionals making sure you follow the correct preventative regime for your specific type of hair loss/losses. There are many instances when more than one type of hair loss is present.
